The Challenge
We believe the 9-5 window is the largest unreached field in the world today. Most of us spend one third of our lives life in the workplace and this has to be one of the places where we must make a difference for God’s kingdom.
So what’s our dream?
We believe in bringing down the walls between the church and the workplace. Our dream is to equip Skyliners to live out Kingdom values in the workplace, reach pre-believers, engage and influence their place of work and ultimately transform it.
What is the Process?
We seek to train and equip using tested methods like Alpha Workplace, Maestro, FCCI, with a desire to equip business owners, executives, professionals, employees make a difference in their sphere of work and to win the lost. We encourage and provide them with practical handles to deal with situations that may arise in their workplace and how to glorify the name of God. The formation of prayer cells, discussion cells, outreach cells, in the workplace are part of the processes..
When/ Where/In What Capacity?
Everyday Skyliners go to work, they are workplace ministers in the 9-5 window! Regular Alpha in the Workplace lunch time meeting are held throughout the city
What is the Strategy?
Provide Skyline with suitable workplace tools such as:
- Pray, believing God to give us the workplace.
- Provide a model for other churches to do the same.
- Grow the momentum in the church and in other city churches.
- Ask God to raise up interning churches for the workplace transformation in Malaysia.
Skycommunity
Skycommunity is the community arm of Skyline SIB. It was launched with the expressed purpose of sharing God’s love, with no strings attached.
We seek to minister to the S.T.O.P communities through Cell Groups and special TOUCH Ministries.
SPECIAL – those born with physical and intellectual challenges e.g. Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy
TORN – those affected by broken relationships e.g. widows, single mothers, orphans
OPPRESSED – those shackled by bondages e.g. prisoners, addicts, prostitutes
POOR – those living below the rural or urban poverty line

Skycommunity Past Projects (2005 – 2012)
- Loaf Story – a bread distribution project to bless the poor living in the city.
- Disaster relief in Pitas during the monsoon season 2007 – 2009 Community Projects in Tibabar, Timbua, Kibabaig 2005-2010
- Christmas @ The Mall: Singing and selling teddy bears to raise funds for the poor 2009
- Christmas Shoebox Kota Marudu, Pitas, Dandun 2010 – 2012
Generasi Gemilang
This is a new generation of youths and young adults reaching into schools and colleges to meet the needs of their contemporaries. We link with GG In West Malaysia to provide courses in our city schools in cyber-wellness, sex education, as well as reaching out to the orphanges. GG changes lives!
